The New York Giants announced Wednesday that they’ve suspended CB Eli Apple for the final week of the 2017 season.
Apple was notified of the suspension this afternoon in a meeting with interim GM Kevin Abrams and interim HC Steve Spagnuolo.
“We have suspended Eli for a pattern of behavior that is conduct detrimental to the team,” Abrams said.
Apple has really fallen out of favor in New York this season and has even come under criticism from his teammates.
On Tuesday, Landon Collins referred to Apple as a “cancer” before later issuing an apology this morning.
