Plaxico Burress was back at MetLife Stadium on Saturday wearing a Giants jersey, talking about the 2007 team and how it won the Super Bowl. And he said he likes the direction these Giants are headed.
He talked about how the running game headed by Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw helped make him a better a receiver and how the same could happen for Odell Beckham if Saquon Barkley is as good as advertised.
“If he’s everything we’ve been seeing in college, he can absolutely create some one-on-one matchups for the guys outside,” Burress told The Post.
