BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The safety position was a major problem for the New York Giants' league-worst defense last year, and so far this offseason they have not added a player at that position. This is cause for concern among fans, but Giants coach Ben McAdoo believes there are a lot of potential solutions still available.
"We've got some young guys that we have to get healthy," McAdoo said Wednesday at the NFL owners meetings. "And we're still looking through some things from a free-agency perspective. Just because you don't make a splash early doesn't mean you can't find a piece later on or in the draft as well.
