Giants stick with new-age health regime as injuries mount

The Giants, in response to being the most injury-ravaged team in the NFL the past two seasons, made sweeping changes to their training regimen — using GPS monitoring systems to gauge the strain on their players’ bodies and instituting a ‘’recovery day’’ later in the week to help bodies heal.

Still, the injuries continue to wreak havoc with the roster.

“I’m not going to get frustrated by it, but it’s very bothersome,’’ coach Tom Coughlin said Thursday.

There are 11 players on this week’s injury report — including marquee names such as Odell Beckham Jr., Rueben Randle and Prince Amukamara.
