NEW YORK -- Ben McAdoo's decision to give up the Giants' play calling duties may have come with a little nudge from above.
Co-owner Steve Tisch did not speak to McAdoo before being informed the head coach would be handing over play calling to offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan, and he did not dispute McAdoo's statement the decision was his alone. Tisch did say he and fellow co-owner John Mara have discussed the team's play calling situation in the past, both together and with McAdoo, and suggested the topic was raised again before Sunday's surprising 23-10 win over the Broncos.
