The Giants are at the point where they are talking about Sterling Shepard as a present-tense part of the offense. The wide receiver remains in the concussion protocol, but that seems a mere formality as he is expected to be cleared in time to play against the Cowboys on Monday night.

“Getting Shep back this week will help,” quarterback Daniel Jones said of Shepard, who was a full participant in Thursday’s practice and is expected to meet with an independent neurologist for the final clearance this week.
