The good injury news for the New York Giants heading into Monday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is that right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor is trending toward playing. The bad news is they could be exceptionally thin in the defensive secondary.
Eluemunor was listed as ‘Did Not Practice’ on Saturday due to a hip injury, but the veteran offensive lineman has promised to play Monday night.
“I think he’ll be okay,” head coach Brian Daboll said Saturday. “But I can’t guarantee it.”
The Giants are already using Josh Ezeudu at left tackle in place of Andrew Thomas, out for the season after foot surgery.
