The Giants are taking a flyer on former first-round pick Corey Coleman.
The wide receiver was signed to the team’s practice squad on Thursday after spending time with three other teams — two of them for less than a week — already this season. In August the Browns traded Coleman to the Bills for a seventh-round pick (a move that he requested, as was shown on HBO’s “Hard Knocks”). He was released by Buffalo six days later. In early September he was signed by the Patriots and on their active roster for six days but inactive for their Week 2 game against the Jaguars.
