EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Giants have added depth at the safety position, signing veteran Jeromy Miles.
The Giants announced the move on Wednesday, giving returning defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo a player he coached the last two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
The 28-year-old Miles played the last two years with the Ravens after spending his first three in Cincinnati. He has played in 67 regular-season games with three starts and played in four postseason games. His career regular-season totals include 41 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, plus 45 special teams tackles.
