The Giants invited 44 players for a tryout at their weekend rookie mini-camp. In the end, only three survived.
The Giants have signed three of those players to contracts following their successful audition, the Daily News has learned: running back Kenneth Harper (Temple), defensive tackle Carlif Taylor (Southern Connecticut), and tight end Will Tye (Stony Brook). The additions to the roster are expected to be announced on Monday.
The Giants will also announce two additional roster moves, since they only had one available spot on their roster heading into camp.
Harper, at 5-10, 232 pounds, rushed for 307 yards and five touchdowns for Temple last season.
