Giants sign running back Devontae Booker

It looks like the New York Giants have found their new back-up running back.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that New York has signed former Denver Broncos’ and Oakland Raiders’ running back Devontae Booker to a two-year, $6 million contract.

With Booker now expected to back-up Saquon Barkley, I would imagine that Wayne Gallman will sign elsewhere unless he can’t land the kind of contract that he wants and is willing to sign for very little to stay with the Giants.

The 28 year-old Booker was selected by the Broncos in the fourth round pick out of the University of Utah back in 2016.
