One of the veterans that the New York Giants invited to try out at their rookie minicamp this weekend is former Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement.
After Saturday’s practice, Clement was signed by the Giants to their 90-man roster, so he will have a chance to earn a spot on their 53-man roster during the preseason.
Even though the Giants signed Devontae Booker this offseason, adding a veteran like Clement is a good move with Saquon Barkley coming off of a torn ACL.
Other veterans trying out for the Giants are Kelvin Benjamin and Ito Smith.
