The Giants have signed QB Josh Johnson and released LB Jasper Brinkley:
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Giants have three quarterbacks on their 53-man roster for the first time since 2013, even though Ben McAdoo said over the weekend he was “very comfortable” with just two quarterbacks on the roster.
The Giants today announced they have signed quarterback Josh Johnson, who has thrown 177 regular-season NFL passes – 167 more than Ryan Nassib – though none since 2011.
Quarterback Logan Thomas yesterday joined the Giants’ practice squad after being released on Saturday.
