It really didn’t sound like the New York Giants were going to sign free agent tight end Kelvin Benjamin, but they have.
Pat Leonard of the NY Daily News reported that Benjamin has been signed by Big Blue.
In order to make room for Benjamin and running back Corey Clement, who the Giants signed on Saturday, they waived running back Jordan Chunn and tight end Nate Wieting.
Even though Benjamin has been added to the Giants’ 90-man roster, it doesn’t guarantee that he will actually make their final 53-man roster for the upcoming season.
