ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported early on Monday that the New York Giants were bringing in free agent defensive lineman Danny Shelton for a visit.
Now Shelton’s agent Drew Rosenhaus has indicated that his client is signing with the Giants on a one-year deal, via Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
The 27 year-old Shelton was the 12th overall pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2015 NFL Draft out of the University of Washington. He played with them until 2017 and then moved on to the New England Patriots from 2018-2019 and was with the Detroit Lions this past season.
