Giants sign defensive back Tramain Jacobs to practice squad

EAST RUTHERFORD — The Giants signed defensive back Tramain Jacobs to their practice squad on Tuesday.

The team also cut defensive back C.J. Conway, a Hammonton High and Montclair State product, and linebacker Gerald Rivers from the practice squad.

Jacobs is a second-year player out of Texas A&M. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2014 and appeared in three games. Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo coached the defensive secondary last season in Baltimore. Jacobs had worked out with the Giants a week ago.
