Stevie Brown's homecoming with the Giants lasted one week before the Giants brought back another of their former safeties to take his place.
Craig Dahl, who played sparingly for the 2007 Giants, was signed to the 53-man roster after he was cut by the San Francisco 49ers this weekend and Brown was released to make room.
Dahl also has experience under Steve Spagnuolo, the current Giants defensive coordintator who was Dahl's head coach in St. Louis from 2009-11. When he came out to the practice field on Monday wearing a number 25 jersey that didn't even have his name on the back, Dahl gave Spags a big hug.
