Injured New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was scheduled to fly from Florida to New Jersey on Tuesday and meet with Giants team officials Wednesday, according to a source close to the situation. This will be the first time the Giants have seen Pierre-Paul in six weeks and just the second since he severely damaged his right hand in a July 4 fireworks accident.
The accident cost Pierre-Paul his right index finger and a portion of the tip of his right thumb, fractured bones in the thumb and badly burned other areas of his hand, which have been treated with skin grafts.
