LONDON – What will the crowd be like at Twickenham Stadium?
The Rams technically are the home team but that is an official designation, not an indicator of fan loyalties.
“This is definitely a U.K. crowd,’’ Mark Waller, the NFL’s Executive Vice President of International, told The Post. “I think in the first couple of years there was a sense that maybe we just appealed to ex-pats, Americans traveling over for a weekend. It really is 90 percent U.K. fans, fans who really are true fans of the game, very knowledgeable.’’
Waller said each team usually has about 3,000 of their own fans making the trip from the United States.
