Giants' Saquon Barkley named NFL Offensive Player of The Week after rushing for career-high 142 yards

Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley was named the NFL Offensive Player of The Week for Week 11, following a career-day in Sunday's 38-35 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at MetLife Stadium.

Barkley rushed for a career-high 142 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding a receiving touchdown on an afternoon that also saw him take on his largest workload yet with 27 carries.

Giants head coach Pat Shurmur committed to getting Barkley going early against the Buccaneers, calling runs on each of the first three snaps of the game.
