Highlights from the Giants practice on Thursday:
Something good
Kenny Ladler was consistently ball-hawking throughout practice. The safety had a pair of pass breakups against Alex Tanney and later intercepted Kyle Lauletta in the end zone.
Something bad
During seven-on-seven red-zone drills, the defense had a tough time keeping the offense out of the end zone. The unit gave up three straight touchdowns at one point, which seemed to catch defensive coordinator James Bettcher’s attention.
Caught my eye
During the team’s blitz period, cornerback Julian Love was dropping back as a safety with the first unit as Jabrill Peppers was up near the line of scrimmage.
