EAST RUTHERFORD -- Bobby Hart's ankle did not hold up long.
The Giants' third-year right tackle exited after just two plays in Monday's home opener against the Lions. Hart had battled an ankle injury earlier in the week in practice, but he was a prohecred full practice participant by Saturday and was fully cleared to play against Detroit.
Hart re-aggravated the injury after the right side of the line was blown up by the Lions en route to a sack of Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
Hart is questionable to return to the game. In his absence, the Giants have moved left guard Justin Pugh to right tackle and installed backup center Brett Jones at left guard.
