In some ways you can can look at New York Giants cornerback Leon McFadden and see just another mistakes by an inept Cleveland Browns organization.
McFadden, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound cornerback, was a third-round pick by Cleveland in 2013. Select a player in the third round and you are hoping to get one who will contribute as a rookie and become a long-term part of your roster. Instead, the Browns cut McFadden after one season.
McFadden has been an NFL vagabond since. He has been with the New York Jets, played seven games for the San Francisco 49ers, been with the Arizona Cardinals and is now a Giant.
