The New York Giants made a quartet of roster moves Monday afternoon.
The Giants waived defensive lineman Ryder Anderson with an injury designation. Anderson suffered a hamstring injury against the Houston Texans.
The Giants also placed offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste on the injured reserve with a foot injury he suffered late in Saturday’s game.
The loss of Anderson is the headline of Monday’s roster shuffling, as he has had a good summer and was considered a starter along side Dexter Lawrence and Rakeem Nunez-Roches. It’s possible that the rise of UDFA defensive tackle Elijah Chatman played into the decision to waive Anderson.
