Giants roster moves: Two players signed to reserve/futures contracts

The New York Giants added a pair of players to their roster on Monday, signing defensive end/outside linebacker Avery Moss and guard Chad Slade to reserve/futures contracts.

Moss, 6-foot-3 and 269 pounds, was the Giants’ fifth-round draft choice out of Youngstown State in 2017. As a rookie, he played in 11 games with two starts and had 13 tackles (10 solo) and one forced fumble. He spent all of the 2018 season on the practice squad.

Slade, 6-5 and 315 pounds, played in five games with three starts for the Texans in 2017. He made his first start at tight end and his last two at right guard.
