The New York Giants have announced a trio of transactions to trim their roster to the 85-man limit.
Tuesday morning the Giants announced that they have waived RB Alfred Morris and S Chris Milton. The team also placed CB Jarren Williams on the injured reserve with a quad injury.
The moves Tuesday morning cap off a flurry of activity in the wake of the first preseason game. Like the rest of the NFL, Giants had until today to trim their roster from 90 to 85 players, and the team also had to deal with a wave of injuries in their first action of the year.
