The injury-ravaged New York Giants saw their roster become further depleted on Monday as they placed four players on injured reserve. Two of those, cornerback Donte Deayon (broken forearm) and linebacker Curtis Grant (knee) weren’t surprises. Two, however, were. Offensive lineman D.J. Fluker (toe) and linebacker Deontae Skinner (hamstring) will also not play again this season.
There had been some reports that cornerback Janoris Jenkins (ankle) would be placed on IR and undergo season-ending surgery. That, though, did not happen on Monday.
The Giants have placed 22 players on injured reserve this season, 13 of those since the regular season began.
