The New York Giants are signing defensive lineman Casey Rogers to the active roster from their practice squad, per a report from Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.
The Giants signed Rogers, 6-foot-4, 300 pounds, as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon following the 2024 NFL Draft. He had a reputation as a high-motor player and a good athlete for a man his size in college. He turned a 4.82-second 40-yard dash, as well as a 35-inch vertical and 9-foot-8 broad jump at Oregon’s pro day.
Rogers has spent the season on the Giants practice squad after making a positive impression during the preseason.
