Offensive tackle Michael Ola wasn’t a member of the New York Giants for very long, just one week.
With Marshall Newhouse sidelined due to a calf injury, and Mykkele Thompson added to the injured reserve and Michael Hunter — and then Andrew Adams — the Giants added a pair of offensive tackles to their practice squad last week.
Ola, who started 19 games in his career (12 for the Bears, seven for the Lions) was brought in to be emergency veteran depth for an offensive line that doesn’t have much of it.
This Wednesday, Ola was signed from the Giants’ practice squad to the Buffalo Bills’ active roster.
