As they prepare for their first regular-season practice on Monday, the New York Giants are continuing to shuffle their 53-man roster. The Giants are waiving linebacker B.J. Goodson, with ESPN’s Jordan Ranaan first to report the news.
A fourth-round pick by then-GM Jerry Reese in 2016, Goodson started 13 games and made 61 tackles last season.
This season, though, it has been apparent that Goodson was no longer in the Giants’ plans. Tae Davis has taken over one of the starting linebacker spots, and fifth-round pick Ryan Connelly has been impressive.
