The New York Giants released defensive back Jalen Mills from the Non-Football Injury list Thursday morning, per a report from Adam Schefter. Mills had previously suffered a calf injury.
The Giants originally signed Mills, 30, on March 12th to reinforce their secondary before the 2024 NFL Draft.
Mills was selected out of LSU in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent the first five years of his career with the Eagles before playing for the New England Patriots from 2021 through 2023.
