Giants roster breakdown 2018: Locks, long shots, players on bubble after OTAs, minicamp

The Giants started tinkering with their roster as soon as general manager Dave Gettleman was hired, and the rebuild under coach Pat Shurmur hasn't really stopped other than when prohibited under NFL rules.

As late as the middle of the three-day mandatory minicamp last week, the Giants were swapping players on the 90-man offseason roster. Before the regular season starts, that number must be cut down to 53.

The six-week period between the end of minicamp and the start of training camp probably is the safest time for a player on the bottom half of a NFL roster to exhale, but don't get too comfortable.
