Giants report card: Swarming defense silenced top rush attack

Numbers aren’t great (and an ugly 3 of 15 on third down) but run game at least was competitive (92 yards) and Eli Manning was on target, unless, strangely, he was looking for Odell Beckham Jr. (5-38). Two delay of game penalties and one time out had to be burned because of a dwindling clock. Only one sack allowed — none to a defensive lineman. What a catch-and-run by Rashad Jennings!

Grade: B.

Defense

The Bills were the league’s No. 1 rushing team. Not any longer after they were stopped in their tracks for 55 yards — just 40 for a 2.
