Giants report card: Ownership won’t be happy with Pat Shurmur

Grading the Giants after their 34-27 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

Offense

Amid the slop, Daniel Jones stood tall. The rookie threw for four touchdowns, completed 26 of 40 passes for 308 yards, did not throw an interception and was his team’s leading rusher with 20 hard yards. Sure, he surrendered a strip-sack that gave the Jets points, but he was operating without any semblance of a ground game. There is no way Saquon Barkley should ever get the ball 13 times and finish with 1 yard. One! And his pass protection is regressing.
