The New York Giants have announced that they have released wide receiver Cody Core.
The 26 year-old Core missed the entire 2020 NFL season after suffering a torn Achilles back in August of last year.
The only highlights of Core’s time with the Giants is the fact that he led the team with eight special teams tackles in 2019 and also hauled in three receptions for 28 yards against the Buffalo Bills in September of 2019.
Core played his college ball at Ole Miss and was taken in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
