EAST RUTHERFORD — Preston Parker will not get a third chance.
The Giants have cut the embattled, drop-prone wide receiver in order to make room for re-signed defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis.
The signing of Ellis was first reported by NJ Advance Media's Jordan Raanan, while FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo first reported the Parker news.
Parker had five drops in two games for the Giants as their starting slot wide receiver in place of the injured Victor Cruz. He failed to come down with Eli Manning's fourth down pass at the end of the Giants' 24-20 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
