Steve Spagnuolo needs a savior for his beleaguered defense.
He doesn’t want anyone to think it will be Jason Pierre-Paul.
“I wouldn’t put that on a guy,” Spagnuolo said Thursday.
A guy who knows all about saviors.
“God spared my life,” JPP told The Post.
It is the right move, tempering expectations for the Giants’ 8 ¹/u2082-fingered wonder Sunday in Tampa Bay, assuming JPP gets the green light, taking the pressure off the one Giant who might be able to put pressure on Jameis Winston — if he still can.
