The wide receivers on the New York Giants are really embracing the “apex predator” mindset after wide receivers coach Adam Henry described his players this way at the beginning of training camp.
“It’s the top of the food chain,” Beckham told NJ.com “They’re fearless. It’s like the quote, ‘Lions don’t lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.’ Apex predators are the top of the food chain. They’re not being hunted or searched. They’re the ones hunting. It’s something I’ve always kind of lived by, especially being around Coach Henry. It’s just kind of caught on with our group.
