For the first time in recent memory, the New York Giants are responding to a losing season by not making any significant changes to their front office or coaching staff.
John Mara made the decision to retain both Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen as the head coach and general manager. It’s also being widely reported that the Giants intend to keep both Mike Kafka and Shane Bowen in place as their offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively.
With Kafka, at least, it’s understandable. After all, Daboll assumed play calling duties after the 2023 season, but not much changed.
