The Giants held their players-only meeting on Monday and linebacker Alec Ogletree said “I’ll just leave it at, the players wanted to have our meeting and we had our meeting and accomplished what we wanted to get done.’’
Members of the defense not long after Sunday’s 31-26 loss to the Lions in Detroit hatched the idea to meet without the coaches present to air any grievances and stress accountability as the Giants’ losing streak reached four games.
Coach Pat Shurmur had no problem with the meeting, saying “I think it’s good. I was made aware of their comments after the game.
