EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Giants have re-signed tight end Larry Donnell.
The Giants announced the signing Tuesday after Donnell received clearance from the team’s medical staff to resume his career. The deal is a one-year, $1.67 million restricted free agent tender, the New York Daily News reported.
Donnell suffered a neck injury on Nov. 1 in New Orleans and missed the rest of the season. He caught 29 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns, including a late game-winning one against San Francisco.
In three seasons, Donnell has 95 catches for 877 yards and eight touchdowns.
