It turns out that Giants running back Shane Vereen may not be out for the season with a triceps injury after all.
The Giants announced tweeted on Monday afternoon that Vereen "has a triceps injury that will require season-ending surgery." Moments later, a team spokesman said that Vereen is "out for the season" before coach Ben McAdoo's weekly teleconference.

It appears that reports of Vereen's demise were premature, however.
