New York Giants’ punter Brad Wing has been recognized as NC Special Teams Player of the Week for his outstanding work Sunday night in a 10-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
Wing punted nine times for a net average of 42.9 yards per punt, with five punts downed inside the 20-yard line — two of which were downed by Dwayne Harris inside the 5-yard line. The Cowboys totaled three yards on three punt returns.
This is this the sixth Player of the Week award won by the Giants this season, and the second on special teams; Janoris Jenkins was honored in Week 2.
