The Giants traded up to the top spot in the second round of the NFL draft and took Alabama safety Landon Collins in a move to shore up their defense.
The Giants sent their second, fourth and their second pick in the seventh round to the Titans for the right to move up seven spots and open the round on Friday night.
New York finished 29th overall on defense and Collins is a perfect fit shore up the back line of the secondary that gave up way too many big plays.
Collins was projected as a first-round pick by many and the Giants really need him.
