The New York Giants have promoted defensive backs Sean Chandler and Ryan Lewis from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Chandler had made the first round of roster cuts but was waived at the start of September to make room for the team’s waiver claims. One of those claims was defensive back Adrian Colbert from the Kansas City Chiefs, who is now out with a quad injury.
Chandler has played in 29 games for the Giants over the last two seasons, seeing most of his action on special teams.
