With the New York Giants releasing starting offensive guard Kevin Zeitler earlier in the week, they will need to find a veteran replacement for him.
The Los Angeles Chargers ended up releasing guard Trai Turner on Friday, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. He could be someone the Giants look to sign this offseason.
The 27 year-old turner has ties to Giants’ general manager Dave Gettleman from their time at the Carolina Panthers together.
Gettleman selected Turner in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of LSU. He was then traded in 2019 to the Chargers in exchange for Russel Okung.
