Giants’ playoff party put on hold by rival Eagles

Eli Manning, who threw three interceptions, is pressured during the Giants' 24-19 loss to the Eagles on Thursday night in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — Nothing that happened Thursday night can erase what appears to be an inexorable drive into the playoffs for the Giants but they certainly were not at the top of their game in a 24-19 loss to the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Giants trailed from start to finish, were again shaky on offense, watched Eli Manning throw three interceptions, the first one returned 34 yards for a touchdown by safety Malcolm Jenkins to put the Giants in a 14-0 hole.
