The New York Giants 2019 have placed wide receiver Alex Wesley on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
The Giants signed Wesley as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Colorado shortly after the close of the 2019 NFL Draft. Wesley dominated the FCS level, recording 2,060 yards and 10 touchdowns over the last two seasons — 1,010 yards in 2017 and 1,050 in 2018, with an average of 18.4 yards per catch in both seasons. He isn’t a big receiver at 6-foot, 185 pounds, but his ability to separate downfield is intriguing.
