The Giants have placed RB Orleans Darkwa on IR and signed Eric Pinkins from the practice squad:
The Giants today placed running back Orleans Darkwa on injured reserve and signed linebacker/safety Eric Pinkins off their practice squad.
Darkwa, a three-year veteran, has been plagued by lower leg soreness. He has appeared only on special teams in the last four games after not playing at all against Baltimore on Oct. 16.
Darkwa made his first two career starts at Minnesota and Green Bay when Rashad Jennings was sidelined with a thumb injury.
