Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports that the Giants have placed a low-round tender on restricted free agent DE Kerry Wynn.
The original-round tender will cost the Giants around $1.797 million for the 2017 season and give them the right of first refusal for any offer sheet he receives from another team during free agency.
Wynn, 26, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond back in 2014. He played out his rookie three-year, $1,537,500 contract with the Giants.
In 2016, Wynn appeared in 14 games for the Giants and recorded 12 tackles, a half sack, and a fumble recovery.
